Who can be a member of the Portuguese Spas Association?
All companies operating within national territory, as well as companies whose establishment is still in the design and/or construction phase, can become members of the association.
Members can have access to a variety of benefits, such as:
- Affiliated companies with spa units under development
- Associated companies that have at least one certified spa unit
If you have a spa unit, please fill out the form below.
You will be contacted to submit your application according to your type of spa. Establishments that meet the criteria defined for their type of spa will be listed on the Associação Portuguesa de Spas website and will have access to the physical and digital seal.

- Increasing members' visibility to consumers through the APSPT website, which includes a link to the spa unit's website for reservations/bookings;
- Enhancing the marketing strategy of members through the use of the Authentic Spa seal as a way of communicating quality assurance
- Facilitate access to information related to the spa industry, including the dissemination of community support, conduct standards, news, trends, and research data;
- Provide privileged access to information about:
- Participating schools and available courses in the Wellness & Spa area
- Adhering companies of spa and cosmetics brands, equipment/apparatus, and consumables for spa treatments
- Adhering suppliers for the construction and development of new spa projects, information systems, marketing, among others.
- Offer discounts on events and training activities promoted by the association and/or its partners;
- Allow participation in commercial initiatives of the association;
- Provide access to the association's employment portal for recruiting professionals.
- Obtain oversight through audits for Authentic Spa certification or refurbishment of pre-existing spa units with the aim of achieving compliance with certification standards;
- Facilitate networking opportunities between members and various stakeholders to share relevant information about the spa industry;
- Safeguard the interests of members, including representing their interests before official, political, and social bodies.
